Vintage American Buck Rogers Illustrated Pocket Watch

A wonderfully colourful and unusual piece of American popular culture.

This vintage Buck Rogers pocket watch features a striking illustrated dial depicting the legendary science-fiction hero alongside a female companion, with brightly coloured figures and distinctive yellow hour markers.

The dial incorporates an additional small seconds-style sub-dial, adding to its unusual character.

Housed in a nickel-tone metal case with a traditional pocket-watch bow and winding crown, the reverse is simply finished with a polished metal back.

An interesting collectible for enthusiasts of early American memorabilia, vintage science fiction, Buck Rogers and novelty watches.

Condition

The watch does not currently appear to be working and has not been professionally tested. It is therefore offered as a restoration project or decorative display piece, rather than as a functioning timepiece.
