1. About Cobham Antiques

This website is operated by Cobham Antiques, an independent antiques business based in England and operated by a sole trader.

References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean Cobham Antiques. References to “you” and “your” mean the person or business using this website or purchasing an item from us.

2. Our Items

We sell antiques, historical objects, ephemera and vintage items. As these are pre-owned and often individually aged objects, they may show wear, patina, fading, repairs, imperfections or other characteristics consistent with their age and history.

We aim to describe each item accurately and provide photographs that help you assess its appearance and condition. Please read the full listing and examine the photographs before purchasing. If you need further information, measurements or photographs, please contact us before ordering.

Descriptions of age, origin, maker, attribution or provenance are given to the best of our knowledge. Where information is uncertain, this should be understood as an estimate or opinion rather than a guarantee.

3. Prices and Orders

All prices and available delivery charges are displayed at checkout. Currency, taxes, duties and other charges may vary according to the destination and the checkout arrangements offered.

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase an item. We reserve the right to contact you if there is a problem with an order, including an apparent pricing error, an item becoming unavailable or a delivery issue. If we cannot fulfil an order, we will notify you and refund any payment taken for the unfulfilled order.

An order confirmation acknowledges receipt of your order; it does not necessarily mean that an order has been dispatched.

4. Payment

Payment must be made using a payment method offered at checkout. Orders are normally processed after payment has been authorised.

5. Delivery and Collection

Delivery options, charges and any available delivery estimates are shown at checkout. Delivery times are estimates and may vary according to the item, carrier and destination.

Collection from Cobham, Surrey, may be available by prior arrangement. Please contact us before visiting and wait for confirmation of a suitable collection time.

6. Returns, Cancellations and Refunds

Where you purchase as a consumer, your statutory rights under applicable consumer law are not affected by these Terms. Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

International orders may be subject to customs requirements, import restrictions, duties or taxes depending on the destination. The checkout will display the applicable arrangements where supported. You are responsible for complying with any requirements that apply to your location and purchase, subject to the terms and protections applicable to your order.
