Vintage 1958 North America Classroom Wall Map – Large Cotton-Backed Map
$185.00
A Big Map for a Big Country 🇺🇸
A wonderfully large mid-20th-century classroom wall map of North America, cotton-backed and rail-mounted, made to survive being rolled up, pulled down and studied over and over again.
Dated 1958 in pencil on the reverse — perhaps by the teacher who last hung it in the classroom.
Genuinely impressive in scale, with faded colours and the old-school classroom charm of a map made to be looked at, not simply consulted. A striking piece of educational history, equally at home in a study, library, classroom-inspired interior or eclectic living space.
