Vintage Brass American Eagle Wall Plaque, Federal Style

An American icon… 🇺🇸

Few images say America quite like the spread-wing eagle. For generations, it has appeared above doorways, on public buildings, furniture and decorative objects - an instantly recognisable symbol of the United States.

By the mid-20th century, this bold Federal-style eagle had found its way into the American home.

Stretching almost half a metre from wingtip to wingtip, this substantial brass eagle plaque has real presence. Its outstretched wings, detailed feathers and proud head give it a wonderfully sculptural quality, making it a striking piece of vintage Americana.

A proper piece of old-school Americana - and an eagle looking for a new wall to command.
